All bookings made in advance, by telephone, Internet, in person or on arrival are accepted on the basis that the terms and conditions of Headland view have been read, understood and agreed to:-

• At Headland view we strive to be a friendly, intimate guesthouse where we hope all our guests can relax in peace and quiet and enjoy their stay.
• A non refundable deposit of the cost of the first nights accomadation is required to confirm a booking. 
• Cancellations with less than 7 days notice will be charged for the first night of accomadation unless room can be re-let  'No shows' are charged at full cost. No booking is confirmed until we have sent out a booking confirmation.
• All accounts to be settled on departure by Credit card, cash, or cheque supported by a bankcard.  
• Room numbers, sea views or en suites can not be guaranteed for one night bookings
• Rooms are normally available from 2.30pm on day of arrival. An earlier check-in may be accommodated by prior arrangement. However, no guarantee is made that your room will be available, in which case you are welcome to leave your luggage with us. Check-in time is normally between 2.30pm and 5.00pm please advise us if you intend to arrive outside of these hours. If you are delayed and will not make your agreed check-in time, please telephone (01803 312612) to ensure someone is here to meet and greet you.
• Rooms to be vacated by 10:30am on day of departure. Late checkout times can be arranged in advance dependent on availability .
• Smoking is not allowed anywhere at Headland view including the balconies and forecourt. Anyone found to be smoking within the building will be asked to leave immediately without refund, and will incur a charge of £50 for the cost of cleaning the room.
• No 'take away' food is allowed into Headland View, careful guests may drink their own alcohol in their bedrooms or on the balconies with consideration for other guests, a guest fridge is provided..
• We reserve the right to charge for damage caused to beds through negligence or known medical conditions unless all reasonable steps have been taken to prevent this occurring. Please be advised that for the comfort of our guest’s waterproof mattress protectors are not fitted to beds unless requested.
• We kindly ask our guests to report any damage to fixtures and fittings as soon as it occurs as this will help ensure that repairs, replacement or cleaning works are carried out immediately and may help reduce the risk of further damage. Whilst we understand accidents happen we reserve the right to charge for any cleaning, repair or other associated costs
• Guests are not permitted to bring visitors into the Guesthouse without prior permission.
• The proprietors reserve the right to refuse entry, or ask to leave immediately, any person causing disruption to other guests, or behaving in such a way that a breach of the peace or a safety issue is likely. No refunds will be given for any stay cut short in these circumstances.
• All damage, breakage’s, theft and loss of income will be charged for.
• In the very unlikely event that reserved accommodation is unavailable (e.g. due to damage, failure of equipment or any other reason) the guesthouse will make every effort to inform the guest as soon as possible, and will assist in finding similar alternative accommodation. Liability will be limited to the return of any monies paid covering the period concerned including deposits
• We accept no liability for injury to person or damage to property connected with your stay at Headland view
• Headland view can not be held responsible for any loss or damage of any personal belongings of guests, i.e. cash, jewellery, valuables.
• We strongly recommend that guests purchase travel insurance to cover all eventualities.
