					DIRECTIONS TO HEADLAND VIEW From the M5 Motorway or the A30 join the A38 southbound and travel west in the direction of Plymouth. Approximately 4 miles west of Exeter take the left lane at a major road division for Torquay on the A380. There are major road signs overhead. Just keep to the left. Travel up the very long steep hill. Do not take the B3192 sign-posted to Teignmouth and Shaldon but travel on to the A381, also sign- posted to Teignmouth. Coming down the hill into Teignmouth, get into the right hand slip lane at the traffic lights. Turn right over Shaldon Bridge, then follow the signs for Torquay on the A379. Continue on this road hugging the coast on your left-hand side. (there is a large lay-by on this road, well worth a stopover to admire the view) After approximately 5 miles from Shaldon, you will approach a small roundabout. Continue straight on, keeping the golf course on your left. Go up the hill and across the next small roundabout into St.Marychurch, turning a sharp left bend to pass the shops on both sides. Continue over the pedestrian crossing and take the first left turn into Babbacombe Downs Road and Seafront. With the coast on your left you will find Headland View half way along on your right just past Portland Road. This route is not only picturesque but avoids all of the traffic in Torquay.
