Headland View
"The best View of the sea in Torquay"
Babbacombe is ideally situated to visit many parts of Devon. The vibrant
town of Torquay is just around the Headland, with Paignton and Brixham
beyond. Most other places are within one hours drive, whether it's
Plymouth, Exeter or the South Hams. This area of outstanding beauty
includes Salcombe and the seafaring town of Dartmouth, with the
opportunity to take a boat trip up the river Dart to Totnes.

Nearer home, ther are two local beaches, Babbacombe and the blue flag
Oddicombe which has its own Cliff Railway, so it couldn't be easier for a dip
in the ocean!

Within walking distance, are the award winning attractions of the world
famous Model Village and the Victorian museum, Byegones. St Marychurch
with a multitude of small interesting shops and a pedestrian precinct, has a
continental feel wioth its pavement seating and occasional street
entertainment.

For the more energetic, the South West Coastal Path is a few steps away
and Torquay Golf Club is just up the road. For the more adventuous,
Dartmoor National Park is a short drive and for a longer day out how
about the Eden project?

In the evening, stroll along the Downs and take in a star-studded show at
the Babbacombe Theatre!
